W.I.L.D: releasing a wild wandering mission movement to the poor
“Whether I Live or Die” is a call to radical living for Jesus in the day to day of life. Carrying the transformational presence of Jesus to the poor and the broken, seeking out the least the last and the lost and introducing them to the King and His Kingdom. There is a wildness of the Holy Spirit that has not yet been fully seen on our streets but which has the power to turn communities upside down and inside out. It first hit the streets 2,000 year ago and we believe the Holy Spirit is looking for those in this generation who will carry the uncontrollable fire of His presence.
We are learning to live conscious of His presence 24 hours a day and to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in the everyday. We practice spiritual disciplines to learn to connect with Jesus in a multitude of ways through the word, prayer and worship, study, being honest about our weaknesses and vulnerabilities and seeking an authentic expression of faith that attracts Heaven.
Our Wild Wanderings have taken us and others to North Africa, Moldova, Spain, Bulgaria, Romania, Ireland and 10 of the poorest wards in Wales. We have seen the Holy Spirit orchestrate divine appointments, touch people who have never been prayed for before, bringing healing and salvation.
WILD… NOT DOMESTICATED, TAME, OR CULTIVATED; NOT CIVILISED; DESOLATE; BLEAK; VERY ENTHUSIASTIC, UNCONTROLLED, UNRESTRAINED; UNREASONABLE; UNTAMEABLE BY HUMAN WILL, DYNAMIC, EXCITING, BEYOND HUMAN CONTROL.
21st Century adventures born out of intimacy with Jesus, journeyed amongst the poor and the broken in this nation and the nations - a grassroots movement, signs and wonders, His goodness in the everyday.
An expression of the extravagant love of the Father who sent ordinary people thousands of miles to the remotest and desolate parts of north Africa in July 2009 to a blind old woman, to wet-wipe and moisturise her hands and feet and pray for the presence of God to impact her in ways beyond words.
