Jgen rising: releasing 100,000 radical young people

For the last 10 years we have provided a youth club based at the Centre for churched and un-churched local teenagers to build friendships, gain skills, confidence and explore their spirituality. Mission Music Youth Café pioneered  a way of working that mixed government initiatives like Millennium Volunteers and Youth Achievement Awards without sacrificing our Christian ethos and values.

Whilst still successful we closed Mission Music in the autumn of 2008 as it was time to transition the youth work to a more focussed emphasis on developing our young people. We started one-to one mentoring for our young people and everyone seems to be enjoying it. We believe in cross-generational church and this is an ideal way for older Christians to invest in and value our gifted young people. We also gather the young people to look at some of the current issues they face and questions they have, helping them to find authentic answers that reflect the reality of Jesus.

We are praying for a radical Holy Spirit move amongst young people and have already seen the first fruits of this harvest in signs, wonders, angelic manifestations, salvations  and healings in the last few years. We are holding out for the promise of the release of a 100,000 wild radicals.
