A Seat in the Gogs: being church in the north of Cymru 2
Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 09:34PM A couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure of hosting Michael Schiffmann, the German prophet, on the island. We had met him on a number of occasions in the south and were keen on having him visit the north. As soon as he arrived at our home he was eager to share what he felt God had given him for us. The most exciting aspect of his word was his sense that the redemptive purpose of the island is ‘peace of mind’, that Anglesey is a place where people will come for emotional and mental healing. Against this, the enemy will bring attacks on people’s minds. Clinics for the mentally ill, retreat centres, and places of restoration for those in the middle of a life crisis should do well here since they would tie in with what’s in the land. The fact that on that same day a new centre for the ‘elderly mentally infirm’ in Llangefni was having its open day before officially opening to patients seemed to be a confirming sign.
