A seat in the Gogs: being church in the north of Cymru 3

Over the past few days I preached in two very different churches: Carmel Baptist Church in Penysarn, Anglsey, and The Hope Centre/Pioneer church in Pensby, Wirral. Two churches representing two very different traditions. The first a Welsh speaking church with its theological roots deep in the radical reformation of the 16th century; the second a new church within a movement only a few decades old.

A Seat in the Gogs: being church in the north of Cymru 2

A couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure of hosting Michael Schiffmann, the German prophet, on the island. We had met him on a number of occasions in the south and were keen on having him visit the north. As soon as he arrived at our home he was eager to share what he felt God had given him for us. The most exciting aspect of his word was his sense that the redemptive purpose of the island is ‘peace of mind’, that Anglesey is a place where people will come for emotional and mental healing. Against this, the enemy will bring attacks on people’s minds. Thank You! from Southampton

Just wanted to say a big thank you to all concerned for an amazing weekend. I  brought a group of ladies from Southampton to the conference and everyone of us went home radically changed and challenged. I personally found God restoring me and confirming words that I had received before the conference. Particularly about being a Captain but behaving like a corporal. SO I have returned wearing  my spiritual Captains hat and ready for battle and a download of strategy for  the Church. Plus healing for my clicking knees and release from writers block!!
